Congratulations on your enrollment with the Bridge Academy of Southwest Michigan! We look forward to helping you achieve your academic and vocational goals. This communication will give you valuable information about our building and upcoming orientation.
Our first official day of school is August 30, 2021. The first week of school we will be holding required student orientations. All students are required to attend one two- hour orientation session, where they will meet the staff, sign out a laptop and receive instruction and information on how to be successful as a Bridge Academy student. You will receive a call from one of our student success coaches before the first day of school to set up a time for your orientation.
Due to construction at our building, Bridge Academy of Southwest Michigan will begin the school year remotely. Since our curriculum is online, this will cause minimal disruption to student learning. Students will be working from home as the construction continues with our school. Staff will be available daily to assist you during school hours and students will have 24/7 access to lessons. There will be opportunity for small groups of students to be onsite to get support services in person during construction. Success coaches can help students schedule times for onsite support
Please note that additional documents may be required for you to be considered fully enrolled. The documents that are required for enrollment are birth certificate, immunization records, student photo ID (if they have one), proof of residency (utility bill, bank statement, copy of parents' driver’s license) and a copy of student transcript from previous school or a signed records request form, which we have in the office. We invite parents to stop in for the first few minutes of their student/s orientation to turn in any required documents, get a copy of our Student Success guide and ask any questions they may have.
