Bridge Academy of Southwest Michigan serves students in grades 9-12.
The Bridge Academy of Southwest Michigan is offered virtually or in-person! The curriculum that is offered by BASWM is fully virtual, through Edgnenuity. Students can choose to attend on-site, from home, or a hybrid of the two. Our team works with your schedule to ensure success. Whether you work from home or onsite, students are required to complete 60 activities per week, which will keep you at the pace of completing one class every 3 weeks.

Absolutely! Visit the contact page and fill out the form. A member of our team will be in touch with you shortly to schedule your tour. *Note that during covid-restrictions and building construction, these tours will be delayed or cancelled.
We provide lunch for our students at no cost.
The Bridge Academy does not sponsor any sports, extracurriculars or dances at this time.
Yes, we have snow days! If we close due to inclement weather, we will post it on our website and our Facebook page. The closure will also be posted on local news stations prior to 7:00 AM.
Bridge Academy of Southwest Michigan is a tuition-free, independent public charter school.
Bridge Academy is open for on-site sessions Monday-Thursday from 8:50 am until 3:00 pm. Fridays are remote learning days and the building is closed to students unless a private appointment is scheduled.

Phones are not to be used in class. If excessive phone use in the collaborative area is a distraction or seems to be limiting a student’s success, we will help the student place their phone in a personal locker that they can retrieve before they leave.
Each student is loaned a Chromebook and a wifi hotspot for the school year. Students are responsible for these devices and can be held accountable for damaged or lost items. Students are also free to use their own devices for school work.
Bridge Academy of Southwest Michigan does not require vocational training for graduation, however vocational training opportunities are highly encouraged and an integral part of Bridge Academy’s educational philosophy that encourages students to pursue.
