At the Bridge Academy of Southwest Michigan, we believe that education is the first step to a sustainable career. We are purposefully located inside of the Michigan Works! Berrien, Cass, Van Bure facility in Benton Harbor, allowing youth to access a variety of additional resources. It’s part of what makes our public-school academy unique. These activities are designed to support and compliment the individual needs of our students.
Michigan Works! Berrien, Cass, Van Buren has a variety of services available to the general public and to our students. Below is a small list of what the team at Michigan Works! can do for our students.
Resume and cover letter assistance

Our skilled staff and community partners provide the components of the vocational program. Participation in career fairs and off-site trips to businesses and educational facilities is also a regular part of our vocational curriculum. As a participant in the program, students are eligible for mentoring, internships, and job placement opportunities. If you’re a current student interested any of these services, you can reach out to a Bridge Academy of Southwest Michigan team member and we will connect you to the right person at Michigan Works!.
